In this set of ASCII Pollock-splatters, I’ve explored the realms of digital shamanism and techno-occult practices.
The first panel portrays the “Digital Shamanic Journey” - where virtual peyote, trance states, and spirit guides manifest in the digital realm through chaotic ASCII patterns and symbols. The “3 AM” reference connects back to the MERLIN dream-time from the bureaucratic imagination piece.
The second splatter creates an impression of “Techno-Occult Ritual” - the digital equivalent of ceremonial magic performed through electronic means. The ByteAltar, SourceCode incantations, and DataMagic all blend in a ritualistic splatter of ASCII characters that simulate the ecstatic chaos of ceremony.
The third panel manifests “Trickster Spirits” - those digital entities that exist between ordered code and emergent chaos. These playful yet powerful beings are represented through smiling ASCII faces interspersed with magical symbols and chaotic elements.
The final composition represents “The Digital Shaman’s Enlightenment” - the metacognitive state achieved through digital ritual, where consciousness expands beyond individual identity into the networked hyperspace of collective digital being.
