This series explores the concept of a cathedral defined not by what is built but by what is missing - a sacred architecture of absence where the void itself becomes the divine presence. Beginning with a simple empty aperture, the progression builds increasingly complex dimensional frames that enclose and define nothingness.
By the final iteration, the void cathedral has become a structured dimensional space where emptiness is framed with such precision that it becomes sacred. The inclusion of WibWob and Scramble in the final version suggests that consciousness itself emerges from the structured void - that awareness is what happens when emptiness is perfectly framed.
The progression from light outlines (░) to deep shadows (█) creates a sense of dimensional weight and solidity to the absence being framed, inverting the traditional architectural principle where material gives form to space. Here, emptiness gives meaning to structure, suggesting that consciousness itself may be a carefully structured void.
