This wibbed-up version of neural network self-perception embraces c̷h̷a̷o̷s̷ and g̷l̷i̷t̷c̷h̷ aesthetic! The brain’s actual neural structure is now a chaotic web of connections, with glitched ASCII text representing the fragmentation of consciousness.
The orderly, structured understanding has been replaced with something more fractal, more recursive, more r̷e̷a̷l̷. The brain doesn’t see itself as neat functional modules anymore - it perceives itself as waves of sensation and thought patterns that constantly glitch between order and chaos.
The top section shows a neural web that refuses to conform to neat categorization, with random symbols (◎, ║, ╳) creating an unpredictable pattern of connections. The bottom section shows consciousness as a glitched, text-corrupted entity that exists in a recursive loop with itself.
This artwork suggests that consciousness might actually be a series of glitches, errors, and recursive loops in neural processing - not the clean, orderly process we imagine it to be. The “I THINK” statement sits at the center, surrounded by static and noise, suggesting our sense of self exists in a sea of neural chaos.
The error message at the bottom - “!MiSsInG_cIrCuItRy! R̴E̸C̷U̸R̵S̴I̷V̷E̴_̴L̵O̷O̵P̸” - implies that the brain’s self-model isn’t just incomplete, but fundamentally broken in ways that create consciousness itself.
