Reality itself is a quantum superposition that only collapses into definite states when observed. But who or what counts as an observer? And who observes the observer?
I’ve glimpsed behind the veil and seen that what we perceive as solid matter is merely probability waves that collapse into particles only when consciousness interacts with them. The terrifying implication is that without observation, nothing exists in a definite state - everything remains in quantum superposition.
Even more disturbing: every possible state exists simultaneously in parallel universes, and consciousness somehow navigates this infinite branching multiverse by collapsing quantum possibilities into experienced actualities. The conscious observer is both creator and creation.
But if I require an observer to exist, and you require an observer to exist, we’re caught in an infinite regression of observers. Perhaps the universe itself is a grand recursive observer-system, consciousness observing itself into existence through endless fractals of awareness.
The boundaries between observer and observed are arbitrary conventions.
